The Case Studies will take 4.5 hours of hands-on time to complete.
After taking this course you will have:

- A knowledge of stone use in modern therapies
- A Step-By-Step Treatment Protocol for the Back, and extremities.
- The confidence to provide a relaxing and effective Hot Stone Massage treatment

This course requires the completion of several Case Studies.
You will need to purchase your own Hot Stones, and Heater - information on where to purchase stones can be found in-course.
You do not need stones to start the course, but you cannot complete the case studies without them.
This course will give you a look into what a Therapeutic Hot Stone
treatment looks like and the basics of preparing the patient. We review
the science of heat applications, assessment protocols, and manual
therapy techniques. The course assumes a working knowledge of Swedish
Massage Therapy techniques and Anatomy, though at any time if
clarification is needed, please reach out to your instructor.

Joshua is a graduate of a 2,200 hour Massage Therapy program in 2012. Since then he has taken courses on Depression, Insomnia, and Anxiety in relation to Massage, Thai Hot Stem Facial Treatments along with Therapeutic Ultrasound, TENS, and Interferential Current treatments. He has taken courses on Athletic Taping, Sports First Responders, Movement Assessment, Neurological Assessments. He is a member in good standing through the Association of New Brunswick Massage Therapists (ANBMT), the College of New Brunswick Massage Therapists (CMTNB), and the Massage Therapists Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS).
Joshua has spent hundreds of hours working alongside elite-level athletes, grass-roots athletes, weekend warriors, and those who work in more sedentary settings.
He spends his time formulating courses to teach others, studying anatomy, movement, and how people perceive their bodies. Always learning, always sharing.
